Tencent Subsidiary Acquires DNSPod

According to Beijing-based network security firm NSFocus Information Technology's IPO prospectus with the Hong Kong Growth Enterprise Market, Tencent (0700.HK) subsidiary Shenzhen Shiji Kaixuan Technology acquired 100% of Chinese domain name service provider and registrar DNSPod in June 2011 for a transfer price of RMB 40 mln.

Shenzhen Shiji Kaixuan was established on January 13, 2004, with Tencent CEO Pony Ma (Ma Huateng) as the legal representative.
