Sex Toy Shopping App 'Touch' Halts Operation of Sex Doll Rental Service

B2C sex toy and lingerie m-commerce and SNS app "Touch" has halted operations of its recently launched shared sex doll rental service after being fined by authorities. The portal to the service inside the app has also been taken down, and all deposits and fees will be refunded to users who have already paid them, including double fee compensation for breach of contract.
On September 14, Touch announced the launch of its shared sex doll rental service, stirring up widespread discussion online and attracting the attention of relevant authorities. On the evening of September 15, the Beijing Sanlitun-district police station issued a fine to the company on the grounds that it was disturbing the social order through vulgar activities. The police also demanded that the company's offline promoters remove the dolls from Beijing.
Touch is operated by Xiamen-based Haibao Information Technology (837472.NEEQ).
