Smart Light Developer Homi Completes RMB 100 Mln Series A+

Beijing-based smart light developer Homi Technology recently announced completion of RMB 100 mln in Series A+ funding led by Shenzhen-based Hongjinwen Asset Management and Detao Capital.
Homi Technology currently operates enterprise- and consumer-oriented product lines. Its consumer-oriented Roome smart lighting product line is aimed at the home improvement market and different family life scenarios, including high-compatibility smart lighting and lifestyle products for bedroom and family room settings, which can be installed easily without invasive renovations. It currently offers 12 product SKUs in five product lines. As of the end of June, product sales reached 350,000 units, an increase of 100% YoY, and total turnover reached RMB 32 mln.
Homi Technology currently has more than 2 bln data records associated with over 500,000 users. Duan Junlei, founder at Homi Technology, said that based on users' at-home behavioral habits, in the future there will be opportunities to match users with services and deliver targeted recommendations.
In terms of services for enterprise users, Homi Technology also operates as a smart technology provider and its Homi-inside business provides technologies and solutions for home industry enterprises.
