Xunlei Fined RMB 150,000 for Deep Linking

Shanghai Pudong District People's Court has upheld plaintiff 51tv.net's 'deep linking' complaint against Xunlei, ordering Xunlei to pay RMB 150,000 plus legal costs.
Xunlei provided links to free downloads of Chinese movie Shangcheng, causing losses to 51tv.net which had spent RMB 600,000 on the online broadcast rights to the movie.
