Qualcomm, Wingtech Sign Patent Agreement

Wireless technology solutions provider Qualcomm has announced that it has entered into a patent licensing agreement with Chinese mobile handset manufacturer Wingtech Communication Technology. The agreement grants Wingtech a license to develop, manufacture and sell subscriber units, modules and modem cards (including PCB assemblies) based on the CDMA2000 standard. Royalties are based on Qualcomm's standard worldwide rates.
