PPG Denies CEO Ran Off with Funds

A spokesperson for online B2C apparel retailer PPG has denied recent rumors that company founder and CEO, David Lee, ran off with USD 20 mln in company funds. PPG will shortly issue an official statement on the matter, which was reported on last Saturday by The Economic Observer. The company also mentioned that Lee will shortly be in touch with media organizations to clarify the matter. Senior figures at PPG also confirmed that its former VP of operations, Huang Langyang, has left the company and is now working for competitor Vancl.
