UTStarcom Records 2009 Net Loss of USD 226 Mln

Chinese network solutions provider UTStarcom (Nasdaq: UTSI) has issued its unaudited fiscal report for the fourth quarter and full year of 2009, with net sales for the year reaching USD 386 mln, down 75.9% from USD 1.6 bln compared to 2008. Net sales for the fourth quarter came to USD 116 mln, down 51.9% YoY compared to Q4 2008.
Net loss for 2009 came to USD 226 mln, compared to a net loss of USD 150 mln in 2008. Net loss for Q4 2009 came to USD 39 mln, compared to a net loss of USD 81 mln in the fourth quarter of 2008.
