PPLive Sues PPStream

Chinese P2P video platform PPLive has sued rival PPStream (PPS) in the Shanghai Intermediate People's Court. The suit demands that PPStream cease unfair competition, stops infringing on PPLive's copyrights harming PPLive's reputation, and also seeks RMB 50 mln in damages. The court has accepted the case.

Previously, PPLive announced PPStream's latest software upgrade, which began on April 19, forces users to uninstall PPLive's software.
