Jetsen to Build New Media Platform for Wasu

Beijing-based AV media management platform provider Jetsen recently signed an agreement to construct a "triple-play" converged network new media distribution platform for Hangzhou-based DTV and IPTV network operator Wasu Digital Television Media Group.

The custom-built platform is to be a full media production, broadcast and resource management platform, and, backed by a traditional TV broadcast system, will be designed to showcase the interactive and entertainment features of digital TV and Internet-based TV. The system will support broadcasting for TV channel, website, and DTV radio formats, aiming to combine production and broadcast capability for TV, broadband, wireless, 3G, and GSM networks.
