Baidu Video Channel Integrates Qiyi

Qiyi, the online video subsidiary of Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU), has confirmed that it has integrated its resources with Baidu's video channel (http://v.baidu.com). The core product of Baidu's former video channel - the "Baidu Xiaba" P2P client (http://x.baidu.com), - is no longer available for download. A Qiyi logo is now displayed at the upper left of Baidu's video channel, which shares an identical layout as that of Qiyi.com, divided into film, television, documentary, and arts channels.

Documents from Qiyi indicate that the company's board is chaired by Baidu CEO Robin Li, with other board members including Baidu's VP of marketing and business development Ren Xuyang, Providence Equity board member and GM Tong Xiaomeng, and Qiyi CEO Gong Yu.
