China Potevio, ZTE to Form Joint Venture

Telecom and IT equipment manufacturer China Potevio signed a strategic partnership agreement with Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ) yesterday under which the two companies will begin comprehensive partnership in the fields of telecom R&D, manufacturing, systems integration, and engineering services, starting with cooperation on TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE. Potevio and ZTE will also form a joint-venture company.
