Rumor: WoW Expansion Pack Turned Back for Revision

Wabei, 6/25/10

COO Wang Zhiwei of Shanghai-based online game developer and operator Youqu posted on his microblog last night that Netease's (Nasdaq: NTES) application for the World of Warcraft expansion pack "Wrath of the Lich King" has been denied by the General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) and returned to Netease for revision due to excess violence. Wang said the expansion pack would be unlikely to go online before August. The source of the post is yet unknown.
