Netmovie to Sue iCafe8

Chinese digital content distributor Netmovie has submitted materials to the National Copyright Administration regarding acts of piracy by Hangzhou-based Internet cafe platform operator Shunwang Technology (iCafe8), and is considering filing a suit after collecting sufficient evidence.

Netmovie accused iCafe8 of providing access to large quantities of pirated video content through its "Wang Wei" entertainment system, and earning revenues by charging fees from pirated content providers.

iCafe8 has not responded to the allegations.
