Rumor: Baidu to Acquire Fanshu

Chinese internet firm Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) is in talks to acquire Fanshu.com, the online literature subsidiary of Beijing-based PC and peripherals manufacturer Founder Technology Group (600601.SH), for approximately USD 24 mln, according to an industry source. The rumor has not been officially confirmed.
Editor's Note: Zhao Ge, CEO of Fanshu, denied rumors of any acquisition.
