Kingsoft Games CEO: No Major Layoffs at Design Studio

Zou Tao, CEO of Kingsoft (3888.HK) subsidiary Kingsoft Games, has responded to rumors of major layoffs at Kingsoft Game's Season Studio, saying that the firm is only letting go of employees who ranked last in normal quarterly performance reviews, rather than laying off employees.
The studio is reportedly developing a new MMORPG, Xishan Xianxia Zhuan, which is expected to succeed Kingsoft's self-developed 3D martial arts-themed MMORPG JX Online 3.
