Intel, Tencent to Build Innovation Lab

Tencent Tech, 11/03/10

Chinese internet firm Tencent (0700.HK) signed a strategic memorandum of understanding today with Intel to jointly build an innovation laboratory. According to the memorandum, Intel will provide Tencent with hardware and software technology as well as innovation funding to support overseas expansion of Tencent's QQ services. The lab is expected to develop new products and applications for Tencent's mobile services platform.
