The9, EA to Shut Down FIFA Online 2

Chinese online game developer and operator The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY) today announced it has entered into a mutual agreement with U.S. game developer Electronic Arts (EA) for early termination of The9's mainland China operating license and commercial operations of EA Sports FIFA Online 2. The9 anticipates that it will cease operation of FIFA Online 2 in Q2 2011.
