Video Cloud Solution 'CC Video' Lands USD 20 Mln Series B Funding

Beijing-based Chuangsheng Shilian Digital Technology, operator of video cloud solutions platform CC Video (Bokecc.com), announced today that it has completed USD 20 mln in Series B funding. Disney subsidiary Steamboat Ventures participated in the funding, as well as IDG Capital Partners and Jiangsu Govtor Capital.
Editor's Note: CC Video provides a cloud-based online video operation platform with which clients can build an online video channel or upload video content on their own websites. The company was founded at Beijing University Technology Park in 2005, and later obtained an Online Audio and Video license from China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT). CC Video has four major categories of clients, namely online media (e.g. China Economics Online, Xinhuanet), online education (e.g. Huatu Education, China University of Political Science and Law), e-commerce, and traditional offline enterprises (e.g. Minsheng Bank).
