China Telecom App Store User Base Reaches 60 Mln

Dong Tao, head of China Telecom's (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) E-Surfing Space App Market, has disclosed that since launching in 2010, the app store has reached approximately 60 mln users, with monthly downloads reaching 20 mln. The store features approximately 100,000 applications for Android, Windows Phone, and Brew devices. The E-Surfing Space team has over 70 employees, and provides developers with over 200 devices for remote testing.
