SMC, Disney Partner on TV Animation

Southern Media Corporation (SMC) recently signed a strategic memorandum with the Walt Disney Company in Guangzhou to jointly develop children's programming and cartoon TV channels and produce content featuring Chinese cultural settings and stories to be introduced to the global market via Disney's platforms. The two companies will also explore a possible animation training partnership.
