Qihoo 360 to Unveil Quad-Core TD-SCDMA Smartphone

The official microblog account for Chinese online security software developer Qihoo 360's (NYSE: QIHU) handset offerings announced today that the company will hold an online microblog press conference on October 11 to reveal the company's quad-core smartphone. According to China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) official microblog account, the handset will be called the Deovo V5, and will support the operator's TD-SCDMA 3G network standard as a China Mobile handset. The Deovo V5 will run Android 4.0, and will feature a 1.5 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and a 4.7" 720p touchscreen display, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM, an eight-megapixel main camera and two-megapixel front-facing camera, and an 1850 mAh battery.
