Hao123 Revamps to "Content Homepage" Model

Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has announced that the company will begin revising its hao123.com web directory page to institute a "content homepage" model, adding video, news, gaming, and other content onto the hao123 homepage.

The company plans to increase the ratio of content available on the site, and has recently added category buttons allowing users to browse and select web links, television, movies, entertainment, news, military affairs, and game content without leaving the hao123.com homepage.

The newest version of the hao123.com site tracks user browsing behavior and will suggest content based on user interests and browsing history.
