Inspur's National Student Tracking System to Go Online This Fall

Tencent Tech, 5/21/13

An industry source has revealed that the national student tracking and information management system for middle school and elementary school students built by Chinese electronics and software conglomerate Inspur Group will likely be fully connected this fall, at which time testing will begin. The system assigns a unique student status case number to every elementary and middle school student in the country, enabling tracking of students from primary through post-graduate education. The system comprises five tiers at the national, provincial, municipal, county, and school levels, and is based upon citizens' unique national registration numbers and national ID codes.
