ZhaoUC to Operate Soul of the Ultimate Nation

Shanghai-based online game developer and operator ZhaoUC (Zhuangyou Information Technology) announced on May 27 that it will become the exclusive Mainland China operator for the 3D MMORPGs Soul of the Ultimate Nation (SUN) and Soul of the Ultimate Nation II starting July 1, 2013. All of current operator The9's (Nasdaq: NCTY) user data and server settings will be preserved.

The9 licensed SUN for Mainland China in 2007, reaching a peak concurrent user (PCU) high mark of 420,000 players. This is ZhaoUC's second time taking over operations of a game from The9, following the April 2012 handover of MMORPG MU Online.
