Google Greater China President Resigns

Sina Tech, 7/15/13

US tech giant Google announced today that John Liu, the company's VP and Greater China President, has resigned. Liu will be replaced by Scott Beaumont, who currently runs Google's partnerships business in Europe. Beaumont will assume his position as Google's Greater China head in August.

In September 2009, Liu replaced Kai-Fu Lee as Google's Greater China President, spearheading the company's advertising and mobile divisions. According to industry sources, Liu may join global online retailer Amazon as the company's President of China operations.
