China Mobile to Start New Round of TD-LTE Terminal Tenders

Li Zhengmao, VP of China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK), has confirmed that the company will initiate a new round of tenders for TD-LTE terminals in September.
China Mobile procured 200,000 TD-LTE terminals in the second quarter of 2013, and plans to purchase an additional 800,000 terminals in the second half of the year. It is not yet clear if China Mobile will procure all 800,000 terminals at once in September.
