Update: Ctrip Lists Hotels and Flights on Qunar

Tencent Tech, 9/22/13

Chinese online travel service provider Ctrip (Nasdaq: CTRP) has partnered with Internet firm Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) online travel services subsidiary Qunar to offer Ctrip hotel listings and flight bookings on Qunar's price comparison platform, following the initial listing of Ctrip vacation packages on Qunar in August.

Ctrip and Qunar have agreed on a cost per click (CPC) model of cooperation. In order to book Ctrip products listed on Qunar, users will be directed to the Ctrip site to login, make reservations, and complete payments after clicking on products on the Qunar platform. This is in contrast with Qunar's Total Solution (TTS) model, through which users directly complete transactions within the Qunar site. The partnership between the two companies does not extend to mobile clients.
