Dr. Peng Eyes Internet TV Market

Chengdu-based telecom services provider Dr. Peng Telecom & Media Group (600804.SH) has announced a partnership with Galaxy Internet Television to pursue a cooperation in the internet TV market. Galaxy Internet Television is a joint venture company formed by Chinese media firms CNR New Media, Jiangsu TV, and online video site operator Qiyi.

According to the terms of the agreement, Galaxy Internet Television will establish an internet TV content platform on the foundation of Dr. Peng's network infrastructure and internet data centers, as well as pursue marketing efforts to promote the joint internet TV business.
