Snail Game Acquires Smart Terminal Manufacturer

Suzhou-based online game developer Snail Electronic (Snail Game) today announced the acquisition of Shenzhen-based 3G terminal developer and vendor iReadyGo Information Technology in preparation for Snail's upcoming release of a new gaming hardware product.

Snail Game CEO Chen Yan has explained that, with the acquisition of iReadyGo, Snail Game plans to transform itself into a full-service, end-to-end online gaming company, providing a range of products and services that encompass game engine technology, content development, global distribution, mobile app stores, telecom services, and hardware products.

iReadyGo, established in 2010, specializes in the manufacture of smart mobile internet terminals, game controller technology, and game operation. The company has previously released mobile handsets under its "MUCH" brand.
