Light Chaser Animation Completes USD 20 Mln Series B Funding

Beijing-based animated film production company Light Chaser Animation has announced the completion of a USD 20 mln second-round of funding. Investment was led by Granite Global Ventures (GGV Capital) and Chengwei Ventures, with participation from Hillhouse Capital Management and first-round investor IDG Capital Partners (IDGVC).

Light Chaser Animation's first 3D animated movie Xiao Menshen will be completed in July 2015, with a budget of RMB 70 mln.
