Baidu Upgrades Mobile Gaming Open Platform

Hu Zexin, head of technology for the mobile gaming division at Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU), announced at a recent industry event that Baidu will soon upgrade its mobile gaming platform.
Four types of services will be incorporated into the updated platform: 1) app stability and problem monitoring, including online game monitoring service and crash log analysis; 2) support for cloud testing including advertising and antivirus testing; 3) provision of push notifications and backend operation for apps; 4) coordination with Baidu's big data department to analyze user behavior data.
