58.com's O2O Household Services Platform to Invest in 5 Key Categories

Chinese online classifieds sites 58.com (NYSE: WUBA) has announced plans for the company's O2O household service integration platform 58 Home ("58 Daojia"). 58 Home will invest heavily in 5 areas, including at-home beauty services, massage services, nursing care, car washing, and personal training, according to 58 Home manager Chen Xiaohua. The platform will add 20 product categories this year and find more than 100 partnering businesses. Over the next three years, 58.com will invest a total of USD 500 mln to USD 1 bln developing the 58 Home platform.

58 Home provides its own services for housekeeping, manicures, and moving, but it will open the platform to allow third-party service providers. All products on 58 Home will be required to have fixed prices and undergo audits for service standards.
