Mobile Healthcare App Developer Huakang Quanjing Wins RMB 200 Mln Series B

Shenzhen-based mobile healthcare app developer Huakang Quanjing Information Technology announced today that it has completed RMB 200 mln in Series B funding from Yunfeng Capital, Shenzhen Co-Win Venture Capital, New Horizon Capital, and Hunan Hiyield Capital. Huakang Quanjing completed RMB 20 mln in Series A funding in the second half of 2013 from a number of angel investors and Shenzhen Tsing-Yuan Capital Management. Huakang Quanjing will seek Series C funding in 2016, according to company founder Liu Bo.
Founded in 2012, Huakang Quanjing focuses on patient-doctor interaction services through two mobile apps. The first app, Yike, provides long-term patient management for doctors. Doctors can also use Yike to look up the latest information in medicine, fulfill continuing education requirements, watch live broadcasts from medical conventions, and search medical literature. Yike also serves as a social networking platform for doctors with virtual conferences where doctors can discuss difficult cases.
Jiuyi Bao, the second mobile app, is targeted at patients with services for hospital bookings, online consultation, test result downloads, and personal medical record management.
