Rumor: Tencent Leads USD 50 Mln Series C Investment in Q&A Site Zhihu

Beijing-based Zhizhe Tianxia Technology, operator of online Q&A community Zhihu.com, has reportedly completed Series C funding of approximately USD 50 mln, giving the company a post-transaction valuation of between USD 300-400 mln, according to sources familiar with the matter. Chinese internet and mobile services firm Tencent (0700.HK) led this round of investment, with existing shareholders SAIF Partners and Innovation Works also participating, said the same sources. Zhizhe Tianxia has yet to comment on the matter.
