Mobile Professional SNS App 'Changers' Secures USD 8-digit Series A

Beijing-based Changers Innovations, operator of mobile professional SNS app Changers (www.changker.com), announced today that it has won USD 8-digit Series A funding, led by Atlantis Investment Management with participation by Buttonwood Capital. The funding will be used for recruitment and service enhancements, as well as to create a lifestyle brand that will turn a messaging tool into an online community economy.

Changers is targeted at business travelers with purchasing power. When registering on the platform, users must demonstrate that they have at least one gold or silver level VIP membership card with an international five-star hotel or airline. As a social networking app, users can make contacts by rating airline meals and hotel service or sharing feelings or information about a business trip.

Changers Innovation, founded in April 2014, previously received USD 1 mln angel funding in January 2015.
