Short-distance Travel Booking Platform 'Let's Travel' Wins RMB 550 Mln Series D

Guangzhou-based Kulv Travel Service, operator of online and mobile short-distance travel service platform Yaochufa (which translates to "Let's Travel" or "Let's Go"), recently announced completion of RMB 550 mln Series D funding from investors including Beijing-based UTour International Travel Service (002707.SZ), Tongchuang Jinding Investment Management, and China Capital Management.
Yaochufa specializes in travel reservation services for 1- to 3-day local trips, offered both through its website and mobile app. Products on the platform are based around major cities and offer travel services to neighboring areas. Services include scenic attraction ticketing, hotel reservations, and package tour products. A representative for Yaochufa said that it currently offers more than 70,000 travel products and has nearly 10 mln users, and the platform's services extend to 160 cities throughout 26 Chinese provinces.
Kulv, established in October 2011, completed USD 35 mln Series C funding in December 2014.
