O2O Auto Service Booking Platform 'Jekun Auto' Lands RMB 100 Mln Series A

Guangzhou-based Jekun Auto Service Chain, operator of online and mobile vehicle maintenance booking platform Jekun Auto, has announced it completed RMB 100 mln Series A funding led by Shangxin Investment Management Consulting, with participation from Bain Capital Private Equity's managing director Jonathan Zhu (Zhu Jia). Jekun Auto founder Gao Jiqun said that the capital raised will be used to develop the platform's database, expand the company's offline chain stores, and support team management.
Jekun Auto allows users to book cleaning or maintenance services for their vehicles, as well as to purchase tires, accessories and other car-related products via the platform. The company currently has about 40 offline chain stores exclusively in Guangzhou, and plans to add another 100 in the province by the end of this year, before expanding to other cities towards the end of 2017.
Jekun Auto, established in November 2013, received RMB 10 mln in angel funding in March 2015.
