Rumor: Cross-border E-commerce Platform Daling Completes RMB 300 Mln Series C

Beijing-based Putike Technology, developer of mobile and online B2C cross-border e-commerce platform Daling, recently announced at an internal meeting that it has completed RMB 300 mln Series C funding and that all funds have been fully deposited. The funding round was led by an unspecified RMB-denominated investment fund with participation by Sequoia Capital, IDG Capital Partners, and Capital Today. A representative for Putike Technology said that the company's operations are now nearly profitable and that funds will be used for product diversification, market expansion, talent hiring, and user experience upgrades.
Putike, established in July 2013, employs a network of professional fashion buyers to source products from around the world. Daling's product categories include lifestyle, accessories, global snacks, and beauty care products (including cosmetics, personal care, and healthcare products).
Daling previously completed USD 7-digit Series A funding from IDG Capital Partners in early 2014, and USD 8-digit Series B funding from IDG, Sequoia Capital, and Capital Today in December 2014.
