Over 80 copyright holders including video portal Joy.cn, film distributor PolyBona Film, record label Orange Sky Entertainment, Beijing J A Media, Emperor Entertainment Group, and In Look Media have formed an anti-piracy alliance, announcing at the same time that the group is currently collecting evidence to be used in a legal suit against video-sharing site Tudou.
Seven government departments and ministries including the State Council Information Office (SCIO), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), and the General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) have launched a nationwide campaign to crackdown on vulgar Internet content.
