Alibaba to Invest USD 30 Mln in Overseas Marketing

David Wei, CEO of B2B e-commerce site Alibaba.com (1688.HK), recently stated that the website will intensify overseas development efforts in 2009, with plans to invest USD 30 mln toward overseas marketing. Of that amount, one third will be directed at American markets. Alibaba will also increase its number of US employees to a total of 50.
