AsiaInfo Q2 2009 Net Income Up 38%

Telecom software and security solutions provider AsiaInfo (Nasdaq: ASIA) has announced its financial results for Q2 2009, with net revenues reaching USD 53.4 mln, up 55.0% year-on-year and 12.0% quarter-on-quarter.

Net income for the quarter came to USD 7.2 mln, up 38.0% YoY.

Total revenue for the AsiaInfo Technologies business unit, which focuses on telecommunications software and services, increased 43.4% YoY and 11.8% QoQ to USD 52.7 mln.

The company expects Q3 2009 net revenue (non-GAAP) to be in the range of USD 60 mln to USD 61 mln, an increase of 40% to 42% year over year.
