GAPP to Start Game Regulation

Director Liu Binjie of China's General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) said on CCTV's Xinwen Lianbo evening newscast that GAPP is currently "cleaning up" all unauthorized imported and self-published games. GAPP's main focus is on cracking down on games featuring pornographic, violent, or otherwise harmful content, and in either shutting down companies or levying massive fines depending on the severity of the infractions found.
