Sohu Begins Shooting Second Self-Produced Online TV Series

On February 25, Chinese Internet firm Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU) held a ceremony to mark the start of shooting on its second self-produced online television series, Fengkuang Bangongshi ("Crazy Office") at its Beijing headquarters.

Sohu's first self-produced online series, Qian Duoduo Jia Ren Ji ("Ms. Lotta Moola Gets Married"), launched in August to tens of millions of views. A spokesperson for the company said that out of consideration for viewers' viewing experience and the naturalness of the story, the brands featured in Crazy Office will be Citroen and Chinese online recruitment firm Zhaopin.

Sohu is partnering with Eastern (HK) Film Production on the new series, which is slated to premiere online in April.
