Skyworth, Tsinghua Tongfang, Noah Fail Quality Inspections

Guangzhou Daily, 11/10/11

Portable personal information devices offered by Beijing-based high-tech conglomerate Tsinghua Tongfang (600100.SH), consumer electronics manufacturer Skyworth Digital Holdings (0751.HK), and interactive education content provider Noah Education (NYSE: NED) have failed to meet standards in random inspections conducted by China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). Tablets from Skyworth were found to have radiation leaks, while Tsinghua Tongfang's pen devices have voltage-related issues and Noah's electronic dictionaries exhibited electrostatic discharge problems.
