The IT Industry Department of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television's (SARFT) Department of Science and Technology recently jointly released a new version of China's self-developed Audio Video Coding Standard (AVS), AVS+.
Chinese computer and electronics manufacturer Inspur Electronic Information Industry (000977.SZ) has announced that chairman Sun Pishu, deputy chairman Xin Weihua, and deputy GM Wang Chunsheng have all resigned, and Wang Endong has been appointed CEO, while Kong Liang and Zheng Ziliang have been appointed deputy general managers.
