China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has awarded 100 mln new mobile phone numbers under the 184-prefix to China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK). China Mobile already offers phone numbers under 17 prefixes, including 1340-1348, 135-139, 150-152, 157-159, 182-184, 187 and 188, as well as the 147 prefix for TD-SCDMA data card accounts.
