Rumor: Phoenix New Media Editor-in-Chief to Join Netease

According to a knowledgeable source, Yang Xiaqing, the Editor-in-Chief of Science and Technology for Chinese wireless and TV new media company Phoenix New Media (PNM) (NYSE: FENG), has left his post to take a position as Editor-in-Chief of Science and Technology at Chinese game developer and operator Netease's (Nasdaq: NTES) Netease Tech portal. Netease's Vice Editor-in-Chief, Chen Fengqin, personally recruited Yang for the position.
