51Buy Opens After-Sales Service Center in Beijing

Ebrun, 11/29/12

Chinese internet giant Tencent's (0700.HK) B2C e-commerce subsidiary 51Buy has opened an after-sales service center in Beijing. While the center offers customer service support and product testing, it does not offer delivery pick-up services.

51Buy PR director Zhang Tao said that in addition to after-sales customer service, the center provides drop-in warranty and maintenance services for branded home appliances as well as computer and 3C equipment provided by 51Buy's own support team. 51Buy is building offline stores and providing drop-in support services in order to strengthen its customer service experience, said Zhang, and is considering further developing its after-sales service.
