Wanda Establishes Culture Industry Group

Chinese entertainment conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group has announced the establishment of its new entertainment business group, Beijing Wanda Culture Industry Group. According to Dalian Wanda Group, the new group has registered capital of RMB 5 bln and total assets of RMB 31 bln. 2012 net revenue from Wanda Culture Industry Group is expected to reach RMB 22 bln.

Beijing Wanda Culture Industry Group has 11 companies, spanning 9 fields, including Wanda Cinema Line, AMC Theatres, Wanda Film & TV Media Company, Wanda Dragone Performing Arts Company, Wanda Film Technology Entertainment Company, Wanda Theme Park Company, Wanda Gallery, Superstar KTV Chain, China Times (business & financial weekly magazine), Global Business (monthly business magazine), and Popular Cinema (film magazine).
