Skyworth Announces November 2012 TV Shipments

Consumer electronics manufacturer Skyworth Digital Holdings (0751.HK) has announced its November 2012 TV sales data, with total TV set sales volume up 44% YoY to 1.23 mln units from a year before.
In November 2012, domestic TV set sales volume increased 27% YoY to approximately 872,000 units from roughly 686,000 units in November 2011. Broken down by product category, domestic sales of flat-panel TV sets increased 27% YoY to 872,000 units, including 869,400 LED LCD TV sets, up 90% YoY. Domestic sales volume of all other flat-panel TV sets fell 36% YoY to 10,300 units. Domestic CRT TV set sales volume fell 100% YoY to zero units (from 1,600 units in November 2011).
Overseas TV set sales volume grew 116% YoY to approximately 358,000 units. Broken down by product category, flat-panel TV sales increased 168% YoY to 299,200 units, with flat-panel LED LCD TV sales increasing 207% YoY reaching 201,200. Sales of other flat-panel TV sets increased 113% YoY to 98,000 units. CRT TV sets sales fell 7% YoY to 58,400 units.
Total revenue from TV sales increased 36% YoY, with revenue from the overseas market up 136% YoY, while revenue from the domestic market increased 27% YoY.
